If you are using Classic Menu for Office...


Classic Menu brings back the old office 2003 toolbar and menus back to office 2010 and 2013, and you can easily find the Zoom as the familiar way.

Outlook Email Zoom Text

Method 1: Click Menus tab, you can immediately see the Toolbars in the ribbon. Looking for the Zoom command with the Classic Menu is so easy, if you are familiar with the Outlook 2003. See Fig.1.

Method 2: On Menus tab, click View menu, and you can obviously see Zoom from the View drop-down menu.

Click on Zoom, there will pop up a Zoom window, in which users can make the Zoom setting. For example, if the font of text you typed is too small to identify, you might select the checkbox ahead 200%, so that the text is twice as big as the original.

If you are not using Classic Menu for Office...


In Microsoft Outlook 2010 and 2013, select a new e-mail and mouse clicks in the body of the message text. On the Message tab, at the rightmost corner in the Zoom group lists Zoom command.

After selecting ”Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom,” you can use these key combinations to zoom:

Zoom in

To zoom in, press these three keys together: Option, Command, and Equals sign (=).

Zoom out

To zoom out, press these three keys together: Option, Command, and Minus sign (-).

Toggle zoom

To switch between no zoom and your last amount of zoom, press these three keys together: Option, Command, and 8.

How Do I Unzoom Outlook

Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom

After selecting ”Use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom,” you can press and hold the Control key while scrolling with your mouse or trackpad to zoom. Use the ”Zoom style” menu to choose from three zoom styles: full screen, split screen, or picture-in-picture.

Enable Hover Text

After selecting ”Enable Hover Text,” you can press and hold the Command key, then move your pointer over an item to display a larger, high-resolution version of that item.
